Sports Nutrition & Healthy Aging Supplements Manufacturing Facility
01Scope
EPC delivery of a 6,500 m² greenfield manufacturing facility for sports nutrition and healthy-aging supplements. The project spanned the full lifecycle, from site development and foundations through construction, commissioning, qualification, and verification. Manufacturing capabilities included oral powders, tablets, capsules, and pelleted products, supported by warehousing, QC laboratories, packaging operations, and integrated utility systems.
02Challenge
The facility was required to manufacture multiple dosage forms while strictly preventing cross-contamination among active ingredients, flavors, vitamins, minerals, and botanical components. Key challenges included dust containment, environmental control, material and personnel segregation, process validation, and the implementation of GMP-compliant systems capable of delivering consistent product quality across diverse product lines.
03Solution
Engineered and constructed a fully integrated, GMP-compliant manufacturing facility with dedicated production areas for powders, tablets, capsules, and pellets. The design incorporated controlled material and personnel flows, dust extraction and containment systems, HEPA-filtered HVAC, clean and black utilities, environmental monitoring, and validation-ready manufacturing processes. Commissioning, qualification, and verification documentation were developed to support regulatory compliance and operational readiness.
04Result
Successfully delivered in 2003 as a turnkey manufacturing facility, providing a scalable platform for the production of sports nutrition and healthy-aging supplements, with robust GMP compliance, operational efficiency, and long-term manufacturing capability.
